Reynold “Buz” Busby was born on Monday, April 10, 1972 in Clarendon County to Trenia Martin Busby and the late Johnny Lee Busby.

 

Reynold received his formal education in the public schools of Clarendon County. At an early age he attended Historic Liberty Hill A. M. E. Church in Summerton, SC. Later he joined Open House of Prayer Healing & Deliverance Ministry in Summerton, SC.

 

“Buz” as he was affectionally called by his family and friends was a jack of all trades. There was no job too hard, too large or too small for him to conquer. Buz worked numerous jobs. His latest job was at Goat Island until his health prevented him from doing what he loved.

 

On Monday, October 12, 2015, God called Reynold from labor to reward at Tuomey Healthcare System, Sumter, SC after a brief illness.

 

Buz was a faithful and dedicated son, husband, father and friend. To know him was to love him.

 

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his devoted wife, Evangelist Sabrina Fludd-Busby; a daughter, Courtney Busby; a stepson, Almonte Rendell; his beloved mother, Trenia Busby; adopted mother, Rhonda Thames; two sisters, Sabrina Sabb of Orangeburg, SC and Denetreal (Harold) Mitchell of Summerton, SC; two brothers, Joe Lewis Busby of Columbia, SC and Troy Busby of Summerton, SC; a mother-in-law, Frances L. Fludd; three sisters-in-law, Mae Frances (Roney) Maddox of Greenville, SC, Teresa (Jason) Lawson and Mary Taylor both of

Summerton, SC; four brothers-in-law, Dwayne Fludd, Nathaniel (Regina) Brunson, Freddie Taylor and Eddie Lee Taylor all of Summerton, SC; an aunt, Jessie Lee Coard of Summerton, SC; an uncle, Albertus (Deloris) McDowell; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

The family is receiving friends at the home of his mother, 12 Annie Tindal Road, Apt 3G, Summerton, SC and his wife, 1374 Roosevelt Drive, Summerton, SC.
