Henrietta Palmer Tindal was born November 3,1952 in Clarendon County to the late Charlie Bo Palmer and Rosa Mae Bowman Palmer.
A Time to Grow
Henrietta received her former education in the public schools of Clarendon County. She was employed at Clarendon Memorial Hospital where she retired after her health declined.
A Time to Serve
At an early age she joined Oaks AME Church Summerton, S.C. after marriage she became a member of Historic Taw Caw Missionary Baptist Church where she sang on the adult choir.
A Time to Love
She was joined in Holy matrimony to James Albert Tindal and from this
union they were blessed with five children.
A Time to Die
The Almighty God called Henrietta from the labors on earth to an
everlasting home on Monday, May 15, 2017 at Palmetto Health Tuomey
Hospital, Sumter S.C. She was preceded in death by three siblings.
A Time to Mourn
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband James Albert Tindal; three daughters, Joy (James) Burch of Eutawville, Ivorydell Omega Tindal and Lameka Renaee Tindal, both of Manning; two sons, James (Dianne) Tindal of Orangeburg and Eric Jerome Tindal of the home; twenty grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a loving and devoted mother-in-law, Susie Mae Bennett Tindal; a niece/daughter, Deborah (Julius) Deschamp; a God daughter, Christine Johnson; two brothers, Bobby (Shirley) Montgomery, Robert (Madgeline) Palmer; three sisters, Sarah (Arthur) Jones, Patricia Palmer Richardson and George Ann Johnson; three sisters-in-law, Rosa Marie Mcfadden, Margaret Palmer and Mary (Austin) Smalls; three aunts, Daisy (Alphonso) Black, Mary (Leroy) Tindal, Mary Bowman; two devoted adopted children, Darlene Nelson and Jerry Benford; five devoted friends, Viola Riley, Sheiba Hachter, Carolyn Dow, Margaret Washington and Bestie Parker; a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
