Edith Jackson was born on Saturday, April 27, 1946 in Clarendon County to the late Charlie and Georgia Ragin.

She attended the public schools of Clarendon County.

Mrs. Edith Jackson departed this earthly life on Monday, May 28, 2018 at Palmetto Health Tuoemy in Sumter, South Carolina.

Those left to cherish her memories, one devoted son, Willie (Linda) Jackson, II of Summerton, SC; four grandchildren, Willie E. Jackson, III of Manning, SC, Irvin Jordan of Philadelphia, PA, Petrac (Marcel) Thabit  of Columbia, SC and Cameron Scott of Panola, SC; 11 great– grandchildren; two special nieces, Verneshia (Robert) Tindal and Vernessa (James) Mathis and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. A devoted care taker, Angela McFadden.
