Jacqueline Sarah Lawson was born August 03, 1961 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Geneva Charles Lawson  and the late Wendell Lawson.  Jackie battled with mental illness for many years and continue to persevere. With her soft voice and laughter life itself was always challenging for her but the simplest things brought her so much joy. Jackie was able to speak her mind in the most angelic way. As long as Jackie had her music nothing could stand in her way. She would spend most of her time laughing and dancing with her nieces and nephews. Jackie was a fashionista who had so much style and charisma.  More often than not Jackie would be seen smiling, dancing and singing. Jacqueline truly loved her family. No matter how hard or challenging some days may have been for her ,she would still greet you with a warm smile.

Jacqueline is preceded in death by her nephew Naziar A. Lawson, as well as her beloved sisters Genevieve (Sister) Lawson an Judy Lawson.

Jacqueline leaves to cherish and her honor her mother Geneva Charles-Lawson of Summerton, South Carolina;  her sister Julia Lawson, Carolina Lawson-Heard of  Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Yureka Anthony  of Winter Haven , Florida, Mary Lawson of Columbia, South Carolina; brothers  Wendell Lawson, Frank W. Lawson of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Lee Lawson and Astacio Torres of Summerton, South Carolina; and an abundance of fond memories that will forever be cherished by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins , family & friends.

The family is receiving friends at the home of her mother, Geneva Lawson, 1959 Lillie Martin Road, Summerton, South Carolina.
