Carolyn Gibson Ragin, 76, widower of Barnett Ragin died on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Mcleod Health Clarendon, Manning, SC.

Carolyn was born on October 29, 1941 to the late William (Bill) Gibson, Sr. and Susie Jackson Gibson. She was raised in a Christian Home. She received her education at Scott’s Branch High School in Summerton, South Carolina. She was employed at Summerton Restaurant and Motel, Howard Johnson Restaurant and Wee-Academy Daycare.

Carolyn G. Ragin was married to the late Barnett Ragin who preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter, Yolanda Ragin of New York; son, Michael (Lillie) Ragin of Manning, South Carolina; stepdaughter, Deloris (Robert) Parson of Rahway, NJ and daughter of the home, Fannie Johnson.

Nine sisters, Herline Alston of Jacksonville, FL, Julia (Jacob) Andrews of Houston, TX, Pastor Fran McFadden of Tucker, GA, Susie (Walter) Oree of Bronx, NY,  Daisy McFadden of Baltimore, MD and Daisy Guess of Sumter, SC; A brother, Thomas Lee (Gloria) Gibson of New Haven, CT; four sisters-in-law, Buelah Gibson of Manning, SC, Caroyln Bennett of Richmond, VA, Julia Woods of Myrtle Beach, SC and Dorothy Richardson of Pinewood, SC; four brothers-in-law, Gerald Turner of Bronx, NY, Rufus (Earnestine) Ragin, George Ragin and James Ragin both of Summerton, SC; four grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at the home, 11 Ridgeway Street, Summerton, SC 29148
