Frances Fludd

08.17.1949            10.12.2018

Frances Louise Fludd, was born on August 17, 1949 to the late Arthur and Ella Carter in Clarendon County. She was a native of Summerton, S.C., and widow of the late Eugene Fludd.

Frances received her former education in Clarendon School District One. At an early age Frances became a member of Friendship A.M.E. Church in the  Silver Community where she served on the Senior Choir, Kitchen Committee, Board of Trustees, Daughters of Sarah, and a Missionary. Frances had strong faith that never wavered, she loved God and would talk about him to anyone who crossed her path. She was also employed by the Summerton Baptist Church until her health began to fail.

“Moose” as she was affectionately called by family, was a fun-loving person with a heart of gold. She was full of love which she shared with family, friends, and all who knew her. Frances would give you her last and open her doors to welcome anyone who needed help. Frances had a big, warm, infectious smile that would draw people to her. If you knew Frances, whether it was as family, a friend, or even just met her in passing, then you knew that when Frances was around there would be nothing but lots of laughter and love. Frances will surely be missed by her family and all who knew her.

Frances entered eternal rest on Friday, October 12, 2018.
